Bola Ahmed Tinubu have history

Tinubu was smart: Things you should know about Tinubu. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has faced significant criticism in recent years. Some of the most popular criticisms against him include allegations of corruption and nepotism, as well as accusations of using his political power for personal gain. You could say that's why he said it is his turn to be President. One of the main criticisms against Tinubu is that he is corrupt and has used his position of power to amass a significant fortune for himself and his family. While some Nigerians believe that he's there to save Nigeria, Tinubu may have preyed on their minds to achieve his lifelong dream. Tinubu has used his influence to secure government contracts and other financial benefits for himself and his associates. Tinubu is guilty of nepotism, using his political power to favor his family and friends over others. This has led to accusations that he is more interested in consolidating his own power and wealth than in serving the people ...

Best Love Song Behind A Sad Story

The below lyrics was written by Tom (Plain White T's). Expressing his feelings to Delilah; a girl he just met. He told her that he was going to write a song about her, and she didn't quite believe it.

The song tells the story of a girl and a boy in a long distance relationship who talk about their future plans - she'll finish school and he'll be a rock star. It was written to impress her.

Hey there, Delilah

What's it like in New York city?

I'm a thousand miles away

But, girl, tonight you look so pretty

Yes, you do

Time square can't shine as bright as you

I swear, it's true

Hey there, Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance

I'm right there if you get lonely

Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice, it's my disguise

I'm by your side

Oh, it's what you do to me 4×

What you do to me

Hey there, Delilah

I know times are gettin' hard

But just believe me, girl

Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar

We'll have it good

We'll have the life we knew we would

My word is good

Hey there, Delilah

I've got so much left to say

If every simple song I wrote to you

Would take your breath away

I'd write it all

Even more in love with me you'd fall

We'd have it all

Oh, it's what you do to me 4×

A thousand miles seems pretty far

But they've got planes and trains and cars

I'd walk to you if I had no other way

Our friends would all make fun of us

And we'll just laugh along because we know

That none of them have felt this way

Delilah, I can promise you

That by the time we get through

The world will never ever be the same

And you're to blame

Hey there, Delilah

You be good, and don't you miss me

Two more years and you'll be done with school

And I'll be makin' history like I do

You'll know it's all because of you

We can do whatever we want to

Hey there, Delilah, here's to you

This ones for you

Oh, it's what you do to me

Tom would later confess that he spent a lot of time in the lyrics to make it worth it. Every line was important. He admitted that he didn't quite know the girl. Yet, felt something he never felt before.

Even though the song later became a hit, Tom never got the girl. Delilah was already dating someone else and wasn't interested.

It didn't stop the song from rising, in 2007 the song became number 2 in UK. .”Hey There Delilah" was also a #1 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, and in Canada.

Yet it didn't make Delilah leave her boyfriend. She noticed a pressure around her as Tom's fans thought it would be nice if Delilah gives him a chance.

The least Delilah could do is attend the ceremony with Tom, when the song was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Song of the Year. Everything remained platonic.

She later told ESPN in 2013 that she “...was nervous that I'd let Tom's fans down. They'd be disappointed to hear I have a boyfriend. Every girl would want a song written about her, and they'd think I was ungrateful and rude to deny Tom. I felt pressure to live up to those expectations.”

What would you done?
